MedScope is a state-of-the-art medical software solution and a RAG sytem developed to support healthcare professionals, research institutions, and clinics in accurate and evidence-based psychiatric diagnostics based on the international classification systems ICD-11 and DSM-5.

What can the MedScope platform do for you?

• Automated analysis of case descriptions
  Enter symptoms or case histories in everyday language – the app will suggest appropriate diagnoses according to ICD-11 or DSM-5.
• Differential diagnoses & structured evaluation
  You receive clear, professionally structured results with relevant diagnosis numbers, criteria, and therapeutic recommendations. Analyses can be exported and already work with a system based on the anonymization of patient data. Furthermore, alternative terms and inclusion and exclusion criteria are listed in accordance with the ICD catalog.
• Context-based AI support
  The app uses state-of-the-art language models (LLMs) and links your input to medical expertise from evidence-based sources: Complete and structured ICD-11 catalog and loosely structured DSM-5 data (PDF) for comparison.
• Link to official ICD-11 entries
  All suggested diagnoses contain direct links to the corresponding ICD-11 definitions and codes on the WHO website.
• ICD-11 dashboard
  A dashboard with charts shows you the most important statistics: Development of codes over time, Relative frequencies of codes per month, Anonymized clusters of codes over time, Warnings and dangers assigned to specific codes. You can expand the codes for warnings and potential dangers yourself in your organization.
• Privacy-friendly & locally operable
  The app can be used on a web server or even completely locally – your data remains with you.
• Flexible Use and Seamless Integration
  
  • Supports multiple AI providers (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Public AI, local HuggingFace) and models (e.g. gpt-4o, DeepSeek, Apertus) – full freedom of choice.
  • Can also run entirely without external AI costs by searching the catalog index (ICD-11 and DSM-5) locally, or by setting up a local LLM. External AI usage is fully cost-controlled through parameter limits.
